Because we love tea! What better way to drink to each other’s health than to serve up a nice hot cup of tea. There’s really nothing better. Also some people think of this reason:

For the good of all in America and its position as the shining light to the world, we cannot stay silent and allow our Constitution and economic engines to be destroyed by a self-serving government. Please join your voice with ours.”
Totally agree with this statement. Except the institutions that should be attacked for draining our cash isn’t welfare, or random other petty public services. I’ll just leave this here and let you think about where the real drain on our money is coming from:
Federal Spending
Still think we need to do away with the department of education? Welfare programs for poor people? Yeah, let’s drop the quart of ice cream we eat after dinner every day before we start to worry about the one potato chip we eat with lunch. And let’s not even get into medicare/medicaid and the fact that this country pays the most $ per person for health care anywhere in the world. Fix military spending, medicare/medicaid, and social security. Suddenly all of these other issues aren’t even worth discussing. The national debt will be zero almost overnight if you simply stop operating a military base in every country in the world and bring our troops home.
